Josephine Aimee Sarayar is an illustrator and animator based in Sydney, Australia. She enjoys utilising a mix of both digital and traditional mediums in her works but has a great love for simple coloured pencils.

 

Her fondness for storytelling as a child continues to be a motivator in her own works to this day. As such, she strives to spark a similar creative inspiration to others through the stories she conveys in her art.

 

Josephine has developed her own stylistic trait of vibrant colours and ‘sketchy’ textures that bring a comforting, dream-like wonder across her drawings and animations. Her art ranges from scribbling light-hearted sillies to exploring themes of growth and change from a bittersweet perspective.

 

While she specialises in illustration and design, Josephine also has also been actively developing  her compositing and editing skills in animation.
